I'm getting almost 1/8'' lateral play out of my trany mainshaft. ???
I presume this is not good..........maybe part of my kicker problem.
Think I'll go to the pub............Haggis.

Not good. Your mainshaft should be locked in tight to the right side roller bearing, which in turn is secured tightly to the tranny case. Pull the right cover and see if you can tell which is loose. Who knows. The roller bearing may be going south.

That's what I thought ......there is something realy funky going on in this Tranny...
At least they are calling for rain for the next few days..hopefully I can get this figured out before the sun shines again,.. Thanks..Haggis.
