Electric Start conversion

Has anyone heard of an electric start kit made by Tech Products. Apparantly the starter motor sits between the transmission case and the motor and uses the trans plate bolts to hold the whole thing together. Any experiences?

I just heard about that thing a couple weeks ago.
I heard it's for pre '65 pans.
But I heard that it mounts on the rear of the tranny plate, where the primary chain adjuster bracket bolts up.
He said you just had to cut a small half circle in the inner primary for the gear.
Seems like finding finding a battery would be a litle problem.

I bought their kit when it first came out for my 62 on a swing arm. Kit was originally designed for hardtail. I had to modify the brackets quite a bit to clear swing arm, work out a newly designed mousetrap clutch arm and use an electric oil bag. Also switch from my belt drive to theirs. All in all expensive and took time to get all right, but you know what, I can ride my gal anytime I want now.
