I am about to replace the MDG bushing. What is the clearance between the mainshaft and bushing . The manual i have says .002-.003 , is this correct? I understand that it wil loose some and need to be sized . Any help will be appreciated. jerry

Jerryd----If your drivegear is OEM//Go by the manual spec.---If it said .002 to .003//I always went for the tighter fit-.002 in your case. The bushing will set its home in a 100-miles.I never had to redo & ream again/never had a problem. However if your using any aftermarket stuff//check sizes carefully as you may have to go more???----Just what my exp. has been over the yrs.---Good-Luck///Respectfully----Richie
