dual adjust trans?

#1

Post by bponu »

Has anyone ever used a trans dual adjust from J&P? It looks like it will raise the trans up about 3/8 to a 1/2 inch. Will that throw off the belt or chain alignment l?

If assembled correctly the dual adjust kits don't raise the transmission, they are underneath.

What type is it? Some fit on the front, some on the rear. And the adjuster plate (bolted to the tranny plate) needs to be removed on the rear mount type.

Yeah it goes on the front. I bought it @ a swap meet & when I went to look it up for a link, seen they had instructions on Web site. Just need longer studs.
