Will not move with vise grips.
May drill hole on other end and punch out.
Been here before? Please post.

Jerry I dont know how badly stuck yours is, but I can tell you I removed a few by soaking with penetrent & using a heat-gun on the lid olny!---Get it to abot or atleast halfway where running temp would be & grab it & PULL ,-IF it wont budge LOCK the drips & shock it with a deadblow on the plier----Im sure others have good ideas & will chime in ,-But this worked for me a few times, & its always when your at a buddys house & cant get to the shop  ,--GOOD-LUCK---RICHIE I forgot to ask you did remove the lock-screw right!

Drill the hole and drift it out. Done it many times and you won't notice the hole once the lid is on the bike. Hole can be small, doesn't take much force when usually.
