Re: armatures
My town has an auto electric shop.
They have repairing and rewinding starters, generators and alternators for over fifty years.

Re: armatures
Hi,
I had a Splitdorf armature rewound by this company. They did a great job and were easy to deal with.

Re: armatures
I don't know what they charge. My guess is it is cheaper to buy new (cheap foreign labor and parts) then to rewind.Do you know what they charge to wind a 65a armature? I've got a few that need it and would rather have them fixed than throw them out if it's somewhat compareable to a new one .
