spotted this pic from chuckthebeatertruck . this is an Indian scout dressed up as a Crocker with OHV heads, fancy pull clutch replacing the worm gear throw out.

That is what Crocker was doing before he made his own bikes, making the OHV conversion for Indians. There are a few of them around. Also his Speedway bikes.

Used to see a Crocker OHV conversion, in the South Bay area about 20 years ago, too bad that sort of stuff is too valuable for people to ride around anymore !

thanks for the shout out -- but credit for that particular image should go to Lloyd Gadd of Mostly Ironheads in Ontario. I know zilch about Indians or Crockers for that matter and wouldn't have spotted this in a million years :-)


That said, thanks for pointing it out. I love learning new things -- and this is fascinating to me.

I see you from Chicago, that's Koslow territory , another OHV conversion kit. A well known guy up in Canada has bike with Koslow kit. He also has Crocker.
