Spoke length

#1

Post by paddy »

Palmers book says 18 in wheel spokes are 8 5/32 long. I am searching for 80 of these spokes and the early 30-59 nipples. Can anyone tell me were here is taking this measurement from? Inside of the bend ??? I have nothing to reference to. Thanks, Paddy

If I am not mistaken the measurement is from the bend/elbow.
You have a pic of the nipples, have a box of spokes, out in the mountains.
