running right ?

#1

Post by 49er »

Hey I have been riding the bike and modifing and tuning ect. but when sitting at idle it runs good on the front, pop pop pop but the rear waits a while to fire, it seems to hit every 3rd time or something. also it is cooler to touch for a while, than the front.then it warms up. it dont hit as many times as the front. but on the road it seems fine. smooth as heck. no problem. the rear plug is slightly black while the front is a pretty brown. the rear is brown near the electrode for about 1/16 of an inch.then turns sutty black. it usually starts 1 kick, it wants to run. I dont see why the 2 cyclendars dont fire equally. at idle anyway.

try swapping the plug wires around. could be ignition/spark problem.
