Gearbox adjusting screw

#1

Post by rocket ron »

Could someone please measure the diameter of the gearbox adjusting screw flange for me. The one I have won’t stay in its slot.
Thanks

Also check the slot the adjusting screw sits in, over years it can get full of junk and the screw doesn't sit all the way in it.

Flange was correct. Slot clear as new repop frame, perhaps that says it all.
Thanks for help.

This gearbox has got Helicoil in it with loose thread. I added a bracket, forcing the screw to stay in place. Works like a charm.
