Help identifying a crash bar accessory

#1

Post by jschmidt425 »

Hi everyone, I'm restoring my grandpa's old flathead... Was going thru some pictures of him on it and noticed these accessories on either side of the crash bar and I'm not sure what they are? Maybe some kind of horn? At some point in his life they disappeared off the bike. Appreciate any help!

Yes, they are horns. However they are not H-D, just period accessories of the time. They occasionally appear on both H-Ds and Indians of the period, and mounted anywhere, not just on crashbars.
