clutch cable too long??
so I ordered a clutch cable for my 45, titled 42wla. so Ive ordered parts to find out its set up more like a 47 and up. shes a mix of parts. I ordered the cable seen it was 2 hole vs 3hole. put it in and its too long? is the 47 and up cable shorter?

Re: clutch cable too long??
All '41-'73 45 clutch cables are the same length. The holes in the bracket are not an issue, merely make the mounting stronger from '47 up.
Is the clutch arm adjusted correctly?
Factory pedal?
Who made the cable?

Re: clutch cable too long??
I have the day off so I'm gonna take it out and put it side by side. I'm picking up my new clutch frictions today but I believe I'v got it adjusted correctly. As for Factory pedal, no idea I just bought it a month ago and now I believe less of what the seller told me. cable is a vtwin 49-0160. Ill report back.
