I have a 1965 Glide that I am building up original wheels and hubs for. Is the star hub thrust washer cover supposed to be black like the rest of the hub? Thanks.

Thanks Tom. I have two originals that I will just clean up and use instead of the crap from V-twin. I now realize that I have a real project ahead of me, instead of a simple assembly. I did glass bead the SS Buchanon spokes and nipples for the proper finish "look" there.
