Tire Balance
I know this has been gone over before ,but I'm going to replace my rear tire and want to try balancing it my self , I figure if they do , so can I. Any input from those who do it and have done it . I am a virgin , I know , but I think I have to learn some time.

I did mine on the bike.
Make sure brakes are not dragging.
Remove rear chain.
Let the wheels seek the place they want to stop.
Put weight at the top to counterbalance.
This is not perfect but it gets fairly close if your bearings are good and you dont have any drag.
Or
take wheels off poke an axle through the bearings and put the assembly on knife edges.
