What year frame
I am looking for info on if there is any way to tell exactly what year a Pan rigid is.I know all the general diferences between early wishbone ,52-54 and 55-57, but is there a way to nail down the exact year? I am mainly interested in the srtaight leg years

Yeah, you have to look at the frame just above the top motor mount, usually on the right side..& likely buried under many coats of paint are "Date Codes" which HD started doing in 1952.......
The number is the year. & the letter is the month [e.g.]
The codes will read like 7G=1957 July
7=1957 & G is the seventh month=JULY etc..
The wishbone ended in early '54 & first straight leg began in Mid-1954...
