42 U743 viewsso heres the story with this one..Bought it 13 yrs ago...originally it was built in texas in the mid-late 60s..only things I changed,were the bars, tanks headlight and tailiight from the original build..30 vl frame/fork..chief tanks,speedster bars..36 ford spare tire cvr fender...star hub wheels..knuckle/flathead tranny...unity headlight...guide bullet accessory light for the tail.. the guy that owned it supposedly became a ward of the state back then..so it sat in a barn with a few other bikes for almost 40 yrs til a friend of mine found out about them and bought them all... Knowing I was looking for a big flathead , he called me up one day and offered it to me..I didn't have the money at the time, so I called a guy I knew in Sweden who was looking for a motor..He flys over with his wife on a week-end,we pull the motor pull the top end off,and he packs it into his wifes and his luggage and flys back home..which after selling the motor,gave me the bike at that point for free..
