This is not a WLH, as these have valanced fenders, civil type round air cleaner, civil type front fender light, 1947 and later gear shifter gate and tank embleme, headlight positioned above horn. Instead, it is a WLC, obtained either from the military dump at Deelen airfield, The Netherlands, or from Canadian army dumps in the U.K.

This is what Bruce Palmer says about the WLH:
"A cross between the WLC and the WL, it has the WLC front fork, wheel, brake, and front stand along with the hand clutch. It has the WL civilian lights including front fender light like a 50WLA or 50WL. 1950s military sheetmetal and oil bath air filter"
