Thanks for the compliment! Yes, I pride myself on the fact that it is ridden in sun and rain (I just have a habit of cleaning it with a toothbrush . The transmission is actually the type 6, that is correct for the 48-50It does look a lot like the type 5 (40-early 4Cool.
