Cleaning up the threads on my lower ride control bolts. I believe them to be 3/8-24 NF . 1 bolt seems pretty good but the other has some boogering but should clean up pretty well.
I can start the die on the bolt with the good threads but stops before halfway up and I don’t want to force it. Threads look perfect. I used the nuts for the top of the colony kit /same thing. My 2017 Colony book only sells the top half of the kit with no thread dimension given. I have the 49-57 parts manual but it only has the shock absorber ( as expected ). I have the 3rd edition of the Palmer book and I can’t even find a mention of it. Anyone know offhand or have a ride control they can check ?
Maybe my die is going south ?
Tim

All 0129 (7793 new number after 1951) nuts are 3/8-24. Shocks and ride controls use the same nuts.

Re: Ride control
Thank you .
Sorry about that.
I searched threads here but forgot about the knowledge documentation base !
I’ll be more diligent next time !
