Idler gear identification
I supposively have in my possesion a Panhead Idler gear. The one pictured on the right is mine out of a 1962. In my original parts catolog it states that part # 25775-36 is used from 1941 to 1968. Is the 1969 Idler gear different? Can anyone identify the gear on the left? Maybe a 45 ul? Any and all replys are appreciated.

On the above picture, my gear on the right has 51 teeth. The gear that is in question has 46 teeth if this helps anyone. Here is a shot of it in the cam chest. The gear will not even engage the intermediate gear. Still thinking it from a 45.

I pulled out 4 different 45 WL gears I had in the shop and they are all exactly the same. No markings anywhere; no part numbers, no casting number, no index marks. The diameter at the outside of the teeth is almost exactly 3" and they have 46 teeth. Looks very similar to the gear on the left in your first pic.
