#1

Post by JR JOHNSON »

hi,just rebuilding 50 fl,and the rod bearings are the 304-40,304-305 bearings,i can find the common 9101--9171 all day long,but the older # hard to find,the 9101,9171, are a a bit shorter,is it safe to run them in the older older cages,or will the rollers move to much?or just find the new style cages.................thank you for your time..............with respect..JR

9101=.1875x.329"
9171=.1875x.662"
I have used Torrington and they match OEM.
How much shorter? Doesn't sound good.

Chuck at Kick-Start has any Torrington roller set you would need.

(616) 245-8991

He's in Michigan, no website. Considers panheads as 'modern motorcycles'. :wink: But has what you need.
