Description: Can someone tell me the diameter of a stock tappet?
Can someone tell me the diameter of a stock tappet? All my books just show the wear specs. I got a decent set of OEM tappet blocks off E-bay and need to see how much honing it will take to clean them up and what oversize lifters I will need. I don't want to take my stuff apart just yet. Anyone have a good honing machine?

If you go to NOS parts web sight or Jim's sight , I think they list all the stock and over size specs.
