Breather screen

Description: What is the original breather screen made out of?

What is the original breather screen made out of? brass? Mine looks like a monkey played with it. Try to form it up back to original shape or just go with a aftermarket screen? Being the novice that I am, just wondering if it is very critical.

Are you referring to the screen within the breather gear?
It's perforated steel.

Oh, the "bubble buster"..... yes, it was fine brass mesh.
Stainless works!
With modern anti-foaming oils, it is not very critical.
