Re: TRANS FILL OIL PLUG O-RING QUESTION
The trans oil plug did not come with a seal from the factory for 41 to 54, don't know about later years.
You coud use a .875" brass or copper washer.

Re: TRANS FILL OIL PLUG O-RING QUESTION
Bob and All,
There is a problem with applying a flat seal washer to the filler plug, and many other plugs on our machines.
The threads are 7/8"-18tpi, but they are back-cut at the head of the plug to ~.750".
Thus any washer must have .830"+ minimum inside diameter to twist over the threads, leaving the washer sloppy on the back cut, and prone to walking eccentrically when tightened.
Otherwise, I would be offering them cut from PEEK.
O-rings don't last but they are cheap; pick one with a 3/4" inside diameter, if you think you really need it.
