#1

Post by cycleman41 »

running a 1948 right case and a late shovel case. the one picture is a a breather port by the oil pump. does anyone know what the thread is ? the 2nd picture is a port under where the generator would go and it's threaded. can I plug this port ?

Not criticizing your photography skills, but it's a bit hard to tell from those pics. The upper picture sure looks like the hole for the generator strap. The second one's tougher to tell, but usually a threaded port near the pump is for the vent line...

I agree with Kuda on the first photo.I cant make the second one out.If you are running a pan right case and an alternator shovel left you will need to remove the welch plug from the right case where your breather stud went through and run your crankcase vent out there like a shovel.
