Re: another cylinder question
Not quite sure what you're asking. Is there a particular issue or concern?
If not, figure out what size piston you need, purchase a good quality set complete with rings and take pistons, rings and cylinders to a machine shop. Preferably one that has torque plates for your cylinders. Talk to the machinist about clearance - he'll recommend a solution for you.

Re: another cylinder question
Steve Wood said it all, it could not be any clear! Also I would like to add make sure they can take another overbore-you have to know whats there! & while cylders are off check bottom-end for play/If you take your bike to a reputable motorhead this will be an automatic process! Also your cyl. heads need a good looking over-like I said a good shop will do this automatically. You will find a boatload of info. on this site,it is by far the bestone outhere in my opinion.Just listen to the men & suggestions given, you will not be steered wrong!!! (Good-Luck,& get that bad bike back in the breeze where it belongs!-58flh)

Re: another cylinder question
Dave!
Torque plates only become critical at .060" over-bore, unless you are fanatical about ring seal and a minimum clearance. Then maybe at .050" over.
This is why stressing-while-fitting is not in the Service Manual.
Can you see wear?
Do you have access to measuring instruments?

Re: another cylinder question
Gents, After a lot of concideration I am coming to the conclusion that I want my bike back to stock. stock flywheels, 74" jugs. it has 4.25 S&S strokers now with 80" S&S jugs (Which are no longer made) that need bored due to front cylinder damage. I will post pictures of the project. Thanks for the replys.
