Chrome moly or cast? I've heard pros and cons for both. What are the experiences and opinions of the pros of this great forum ?
Gracias,

ARNULFO!---USE CAST rings--(HASTINGS!)---Dont be fooled by the HYPE!--Chrome-Moly -rings may never seat!!!.--I have used TOTAL-SEAL-Rings -(no gap on compresion rings!)--they are tapered & a lot of patience to get on!--I broke one my first try!.--YES there GOOD!--BUT not needed for street use!---All the top-ends I have been thru I always use CAST-RINGS==HASTINGS!--You cant go wrong!--You probably already done this but---Make sure the ring-lands on piston are in PERFECT COND. Mic. the bore & MIC the PISTON--MUST be in spec.!---After shes together run her at speeds varying from 25 to 50 & no more then 50!--They find there home in 100-miles!,-After that you may do a few 90MPH passes in the left lane if need be!--Do this olny if the bottom-end is run-in!--1500-miles covers the bottom!---GOOD-LUCK----RICHIE 8)
