59 PAN LIFTER BLOCKS "HELP"

GUYS MY CHROME SHOP MESSED UP BOTH MY LIFTER BLOCKS. ANYBODY KNOW WHERE I CAN GET A SET OF NICE ORIGINALS ASAP ? ALL HELP SURE WOULD BE A BLESSING.

How are they damaged?
Chrome and be stripped back to base metal.
Photos and description please.

Actually the chrome shop just did their job. You ruined them by sending them to a chrome shop!
At least the way I see it!

I've got a set of cast iron blocks off a shovel #18601-73 front #18611-73 rear....cheap!

I've had plenty of oem blocks chromed with no issues, how did they screw yours up?

THEY CUT ALOT OF METAL OFF IN THE POLISHING PROCESS AND THE BEVELED HOLES WHERE THEY BOLT DOWN IS PAPER THIN, THERE BAD ABOUT BREAKING THERE STOCK. I TOLD THEM TO STAY AWAY FROM THAT AREA AND THE OWNERS SON WENT WILD WITH THE SANDING PROCESS. I COULDNT BELIEVE MY EYES. LOOKS LIKE I'AM GET JIMS OR S&S BLOCKS NOW. YUCK.......

I have the Jims blocks fitted on one bike, but dont have enough miles on it to comment on how good they are.

I've been hearing good things about these.

GOT ME A NICE SET OF GENUINE H/D COMMING WITH MATCHING LIFTERS ( IN SPEC'S )FELLAS. THANKS FOR THE HELP

I really don't see allot of difference between the -53 and the -73 tappet guides. my pan set had the ear broke off (freakin hippy's) I welded it back on but I'm not completly happy with it, plus someone that didn't know any better chromed them. A friend handed me a nice looking set of 73's. I'm going to run solid tappets.

Ya'all now of any issues with running these trouble head guides???
