Can anyone tell me how well an M-35 linkert might perform on a relatively stock 64 flh?

Panhead_Kicker!
That depends entirely upon your personal riding habits.
With a 'stock' M35, it might just be the ticket for a sidehack with a heavy payload in urban traffic.
But if your machine is stripped to the bone, and passing on the highway is your typical duty, then you may do well to convert it to M74B specs.
Nothing irreversible, just a venturi and main nozzle.
Retain your original HS needle and forget a fixed jet.
Let us know what happens!
