My new Project the Linkert M74B

Picked this carb up off of Ebay last week. Sure did look bad with at least 5 coats of silver paint. I bead blasted it and it sure does look nice.
It had a foam float. I completely disassembled the carb and cleaned it out. No beads left anywhere. Re assembled it with the old parts after putting in new shaft bushings. Put a Liberty Float in it set to 1/4 inch. Set the High speed needle and the Low speed needle to 3 turns each.
Put it on the bike and did the normal starting ritual.
Fired right up on the second kick.
I adjusted the Idle screw and she runs pretty well considering I have an intake leak. That is the next project.
No----I am not going to paint the carb black. I like the bronze color. :D

The jet is a number 19.
Any benefit in changing it with my stock 74 with a FLH cam?
