Linkert air cleaner screws

#1

Post by jdpan »

I'm needing some longer air cleaner screws for a custom cleaner but I can't seem to find the correct size screw.... What the hell is the right screw for this application?? It's the screw that screws into the Linkert itself... Thanks!

JD,
For your custom air cleaner (or bird catcher) you should be able to get those 12-24tpi screws at any decent hardware store. Around here they stock them in zinc plated steel or brass in lengths up to about 1-1/2". If you need the real long ones (12-24tpi X 2-1/4") like they used on some of the 45" air cleaners, Colony makes them with cad plating.
