Linkert M74 carb problems

64 Pan M74 Linkert , runs good on high end . When I come to a stop and it idles down its drops to one cylinder and back fires . Have tried plugs , points , condensor and plug wires . What else should I look at besides carb and what in carb should I look for if this seems to be part of the problem ? Dick

I know I'm taking some ones line ,but have you pressure tested the intake manifold ? Hard starting ?

Check the intake manifolds for leakage and the Throttle shaft for intake leaks. mine had a problem with the throttle shaft bushing being worn out
