1959 linkert throttle lever arm measurement ?

I have an e-bay purchased linkert carb for my 59 pan and just discovered the throttle arm OEM # 27265-49a is homemade ,and way to short in heigth for the cable to reach without bending seriously. Can someone give me the overall heigth of the lever please, and maybe I can adapt this one . Thanks.

The tall one is approx. 1 7/8" and pm sent.
