Repair/Remanufacture/Restore saddlebags

Is there anybody out there who is repairing or remanufacturing saddlebags? I just bought a 1959 Panhead that came originally with the white saddlebags. In 1960, somebody ran into one of them at Sturgis, crushing it, and the original owner replaced them with black ones (he liked the color better). I have the original white ones and would love to get them restored and put them back on the bike.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You actually have several good choices, here are 3 leather smiths with excellent reputations (that I know of), I'll give you the links and you can decide for yourself. I have personally done business with all 3 of these folks and have no complaints with any of their products or services.

Good call!, it just dawned on me that he probably has bubble bags on that '59, the leather folks won't be able to help him with those.

I'll get the link for the bubble bags added to the commercial links also, thanks for posting it.

Thanks for the help, guys. Yes, they are bubble bags so no, the leather guys probably won't help much.

I am aware of BB Reproductions, but was really looking to see if anybody knew of a company that could repair and recondition the original bags.

Thanks for the responses. My initial thought was to try to keep it as original as possible, but after owning the bike for a few days, I have found other stuff that is not original. I am just going to look for a set of white bubble bags for her and keep the original ones for a keepsake.
