Frame-mounted Buddy Seat
I have looked all over the place for pictures of a Duo-glide with the optional frame-mounted buddy seat installed on it. This seat was also called the All-model seat and was used in various forms for the Sportster and the Duo-glide. It does not use the pogo stick and has special brackets that mount on the back side of the upper shock studs. If anyone has pictures of this seat mounted, I would appreciate a posting. All the books mention it, but no one shows it on a bike. I am considering the seat for my 61 restoration, but would like to see it on a bike first.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Frame-mounted Buddy Seat
Hi panpered,
Here is a pic from an old Enthusiast of the seat on a bike. So far it's the only one I can find. I hope this can help you.

Re: Frame-mounted Buddy Seat
I'm pretty sure that Dixie still has NOS fore and aft brackets for Duos, as well as their own style of back rail, quite reasonable of course.
Someday I'll get these covers mounted on some weathered cores.
