trumpet horn

I hate to seem stupid but I bought a aftermarket trumpet horn and can't seem to figure out where the bracket mounts buy the dist. Of coarse it didn't come with and instructions. Seems sad rebuilt half the bike and can't figure out the horn . If any body out the could take a picture of there's Thanks in advance Bob

Panhead, at the risk of changing the topic here, I noticed the spring that holds the circuit breaker in the advanced position. Do you retard the circuit breaker when you start the bike? Why use the spring rather than the hand control? Thanks.

Yes, I retard the circuit breaker when I start, but I do not have the original hand control (S&S carburetor therefor non-original handlebar).
Has anyone a picture of the trumpet horn in combination with the regulator?

Hello All, I think I figured it out. The front mount goes to the little bose in front of the dist. I had the wrong bracket in my hand for 2 days. Hope have this thing back together soon, just like a big puzzle and can't find the corners. Bob

i just ran into the same problem only i dont have the flat on my engine case like in the picture. the kit came with all kinds of brackets but still????
anyone can help it would be appreciated.

Hello Drag pipe. The bracket you need for the dist side is a bracket with three holes and the end bent up with a drilled and taped hole.the bracket mounts on the raised boss next to the dist. then the rubber mount goes through the horn. Hopefully this helps. if not send me an email address and I will take a picture of mine Later Bob

thats the problem, there is no raised boss??
