Windshield Brackets
what is the correct application for #58108-49 brackets?
are these used only for when spot lamps are used? My wind shield looks like it will fit without them, I don't have spot lamps or signals.-

Re: Windshield Brackets
this is a picture of a 56 from the museum in Milwaukee. it has the extra brackets but they don't have the L shaped portion of the bracket.
Not sure what is correct?-

I'm "chassis challenged" Folks,...
But I was led to believe the tanged mounts were '49 only.
And that was before Al Gore invented the Internet!

Re: Windshield Brackets
Pretty sure you need them to position the wind shield correctly , I'd use them.

Re: Windshield Brackets
If you use them, make sure the offset goes toward the head lite or the window will be too flat. When I first got my 51, the brackets were mounted backwards....
