Saddlebag Brackets

#1

Post by BlainesGarage »

Happy Fathers Day dads,

Can anyone identify the brackets in this picture? They are different than the other brackets i've seen(second picture).
I thought they may be for later models and may not work for 58-64. Thanks

The ones on the bottom are for the fiberglass bags, the other ones look like they are for leather bags on a swing arm...

Those brackets are for mid to late 70's to early to mid 80's fiberglass bags. Those are for the bags in the first picture. The brackets in the second picture not sure. Scott

J&P shows both styles when i search for my 63FLH. J&P says they will 'fit' 1903-2012. (just kidding, but you know what i mean)
I just want to buy the correct setup.

The top picture has the disc brake swingarm brackets and the second pic are the drum brake brackets. They're both for the fiberglass bags.

Thanks for clarifying that Rick, I just learned something new today. It now makes sense the different brackets one for drums, one for rotors. I was half right. Thanks Scott
