Thanks for posting those links! I came in from the shop this evening and hit the first link just as the auction was ending, at 3 minutes left it was at $1220, when it got under the 10 second mark it jumped several times and ended at $1546. WHAT?!!, is a moldy seat (complete with butt smell and rosettes) really worth that much? I guess it is, 31 bidders thought so. And, the seller knew what he was doing, he put the magic word (Knucklehead) in the ad description, and its probably not even a knuck seat. The last 3 minutes of that auction was as entertaining as anything I've seen lately.
The star rosettes were at $249 when I looked, don't you wish you had a drawer full of those? (stuck on the original dealer card backing of course), and the stars are '49 or newer because they have the -49 part number on them......

NOT FOR ME!---THAT $1500 would be better spent somwhere else!---BUT, to each his own!--Im just saying a G-5 mag for $850? & $700 left for other things-just my 2----RICHIE

That seat is not for a Knucklehead nor is it leather. It is a 1953--54 seat made from royalite plastic.--Michael
