Signal Lamp Crater Style Lenses.

Does anyone have information on the year range of crater style signal lamp lenses? Did they run from 49 to like maybe 1964 before the 12 volt system was introduced? I am thinking they were not used prior to 1949. This info is fairly important to me so all info will be very much apreciated, thank you in advance...Joe

Thanks Bosheff:- Have a friend wanting lamps for a knuck, guese he gets the domed ones, I keep my craters as a spare. You never know when you get the dropsies one day huh?...Joe
