I have run a no battery magneto fired system for over 12,000 miles with no problems. I have a 65-A generator with a battery eliminator capacitor and a solid state fined regulator. I just changed out my burnt out head light. Both hi and low beam burned out with a little bit of RPM increase. What part of my electrical system would be most likely causing this problem.
Thank you in advance.......Bob

Re: High Voltage Output
Dear OldBob,
Since burning bulbs means too much juice Ill bet the regulator gave it up. Generators break the other way.

Re: High Voltage Output
Thank's for the reply shift. will any solid state 12 volt regulator work with the 65-A generator. It has been some time scent's I put the system together and don't remember if I used a particular type.
