mechanical voltage reulator

I forgot what wire went where.What wire go to the DF terminal& the D+ terminal .Does the A on the generator go to the D+ on the regulatoror does it go to the DF on the regulator. THank You

61FLHPan,
If you are stock, it hooks up just like in the diagram found in the knowledgebase/documentation/59-69 service manual for wiring diagram on this site. I am looking at my 6v regulator, and sure enough each terminal is actually stamped like the diagram indicates :BAT (battery) GEN (A on gen.) and F (F on gen.)

D+ = A Armature
DF = F Field
B+ = Battery
61 = not needed (although some bikes the gen light connects there, on others it is on the D+)
Don't forget the ground!

61FLHPan!

Since Pans didn't come with that regulator, I must advise you that you must run the appropriate battery for it.

Are you running 6 or 12v?
