Cloth wire loom

#1

Post by FlatHeadSix »

Help! does anyone know a supplier for the asphalt/tar coated woven cloth wire loom? Not the wire, just the "tube" that encloses the wires in various places on the rigid frames. I think they are available in different diameters depending on how many wires you try to stuff in them but I can't seem to locate a supplier.
thanks for any leads

V-Twin Mfg. just happens to have something good for us. They have your wire loom in various sizes, by rolls of 25 ft., I believe.

I got something very similar at the local NAPA auto parts store. It did come in several diameters and was pretty cheap, if your not looking for an exact repop.

NOSPARTS was a great source for my loom and cloth wire when I did my harness.

Jonathan -

I'm glad to hear that it can be had through NAPA. They can get parts in stock overnight.

thanks for all the leads guys. I went with Zoom Cycle (V-twin) they have 3 different sizes in 10 foot lengths. Should be enough to finish the WL project and freshen up the 49 FL with enough left over for future projects.
