If you have one of those "battery eliminator" capacitors, where do you connect it on the electrical system, to the Armature and Field terminals on the generator?
I don't run a mag but was wondering how it works, running without a battery. And seems like the headlight would go dark at idle.

I talk to a friend of mine about the issue, and he use to run his Triumph (Lucas) with magneto and without both batteri and capacitor for 3 years. And later his Harley with magneto, and a capacitor just instead of the battery. And I guess that the most important thing is that the field not will lose the pre-magnition. So many opinion about this issue.. And this was one..
