WANTED - NON Functional Delco Remy Regulator

Looking for a Delco Remy regulator that is NOT in working condition, it just has to look good (or pretty good). I want to install it as a dummy on my 56 FLH.

I'd take a functional one, but the last one on Flea-Bay went for $90 so if you have a working one you might want to go that route.

Let me know if you have one you can spare for a reasonable price.

are you looking for a cut out relay(small) or the larger 2 unit?

what kind of cover are you looking for? would a plain one do?

I think it's the small one. My 56 FLH is non-radio so I'm pretty sure it's the standard Delco relay part number 74750-38.

I've attached a picture.

I'm trying to go for authentic so I'd prefer one with the Delco Remy stamp.

all i have are the larger '58 and up delco 2 unit models.

someone must have a cut out like you pictured. are you planning on making a solid state one like i did?

My system is 12 volt. If I could get a solid state one, i'd go for it. I don't think i have the patience to try and make one myself. My plan was to install one of the electronic regulators on the end of the generator and have the relay there just for show.

Steve, check out www.nosparts.com They make an electronic version for 25 bucks. The OEM cover in black is 12. Seems like a deal. Gonna try one on my 49 EL. Used some of his other parts and so far they have all worked.
