Battery - 6 volt dry type recommendation

I need to buy a new 6 volt battery and am wanting opinions on whether there are 6 volt dry type batteries that will fit inside a 64 FL oil tank and not require a change out of the stock regulator (apparently the ES12-6 battery requires a changeout), etc.?

The 64 FL is a stock Police Special with original regulator, generator, etc.

Company names and part numbers are appreciated.

I tried two different makers of Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) batteries in my 57 Pan and neither of them lasted more than a few weeks. The batteries had fairly large ratings at 18 amp hours compared to 22 for the standard lead acid but were not up to the task of operating in the hot environment surrounded by the oil tank. I used one of these SLA types in my WL with great success so I believe the difference is in the temperature.

As a person that was in the battery biz I'll tell you up front, if you try and put a sealed lead acid battery in your bike you may as well send the money to me cause you will be throwing it away. They are made for stationary room temperature environments, not vibrating 200deg oil tank areas. I did this for a living and put one in the 48Fl I drive and cooked it on the first ride in 10 minutes, By a good wet battery, (try to find an original Yuasa), not what harley sells now
