Guide SH-2 lamps
Can someone please explain this, I've seen them with and without toggle switches ... I would think that the toggle-less ones used a handlebar mounted switch. ? Someone know the timeline ? There's a hot full time terminal on the plate term. 10, should the toggle less lamps get power from there as well?

Re: Guide SH-2 lamps
The 47 accessory catalog says ...
"The spotlights are the same deluxe model as described above. An extra handlebar switch is also included. This permits the rider to switch on and off from the handlebar. A decided convenience especially if motorcycle is equipped with a windshield."
The 47 spotlights had a switch on the bottom of the light but they also sold a handlebar switch is case you have a winshield.
And thats the way it was in 47.

I know it doesn't really prove anything, but both the passing lamps on my '49 (original, I think) have toggle switches on the bottom and there is no switch on the handle bars. Also, they are wired to the #10 post on the terminal board so, yes, they are hot all the time.

Re: Guide SH-2 lamps
Maybe they came without the switches when ordered from the factory with spots and the handle bar switch.
