Does anyone know the significance of DH-50 stamped switch housing 71840-29? Most of the housings I have aren't stamped, or have a hole there for external wires.

The DH-50 switches show up on Ebay on occasion.
None of my 47 to 54 bikes have them making me think they are pre 47 or post 54.
Year of your bike?

My 56 turn signal switch is stamped DH-50, but the HI/LO is not.
