motor rebuild

Post by dragpipe53 »

I have a 53 motor that I want to have rebuilt...the engine is the only thing giving me grief. I was told it was rebuilt in 82, but it has sat since then untill last year when I finally got her running. Its just not running right.

Who can I trust to have this motor rebuilt. I have had it in two shops now, only to have problems that follow.
I live in Canada and im willing to ship it to the states if I have to...
WHO IS THE BEST PANMAN????????????????
Thanks Dan

Builds them right over in this part of the world. Don't email them though. Call 'em.

Oh yeah, (back-pedals) I didn't see the word "best". My mistake. Stett's the best Pan motor builder, south of Camp Pendleton, California.

An earnest question deserves an earnest answer, even if there is no answer to 'who is the best panman'.

If you want it done right, you must do as much as you can yourself.

Sorry if you didn't want to hear that;
But that's the whole vintage motorcycle experience in a nutshell.
