damn shouldn't have........
Is a 1/4 pipe thread tap exotic where you live? Do you own a lathe? Know how to operate it? Marvelous machine. As to who was taking tanks on and off, that was Kuda. Cotten if you didn't spend so much time returning teddys junk maybe you too could afford a Pingel petcock.

If I set up on my lathes, its a "machine operation", pure and simple. How else did you achieve a 3/4"-18 thread for the tank?
The inline valve requires no such hassle.
And a Pingel petcock is worth about as much to me as teats on a boar.
Its been well over a decade since anyone asked for one.
Don't they have rubber (or whatever) in them?
